Terms of Temporary Tenancy –
I accept:
1. That this is a temporary holiday letting for the period given above.
2. My party will avoid smoking in the gîte.
3. I will leave the gîte clean and tidy (or pay for a cleaner which, if not already chosen on page 1, will be deducted from my deposit if not left clean and tidy). Please arrive after 4pm on the day of occupancy and depart not later than 11am on the last day – for us to clean and change bedding.
4. The deposit and cancellation terms: 30% of rent non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. A £200/€250 returnable deposit is required against breakages with the remainder of the booking fee. The remainder is due 8 weeks prior to occupancy otherwise the gîte may be re-let; to the remainder I will add £30/€50 for a cleaner, if required. Booking confirmed when deposit and signed booking form is received. Fully confirmed when remainder of booking fee received.
5. That the owners accept no responsibility for personal loss or injury to any of my party however caused and will arrange my own holiday, personal accident and travel insurance. (The gîte itself and our French law ‘responsabilité civile’ is of course covered by us).
6. That I will not bring any pets.
7. Responsibility for damage caused by my party to the gîte.
8. Full responsibility for all members of my party whilst using the swimming pool.
