Purple Lizard designed and built the Channel 4 Family Tree completely from design to implementation. Generally Channel four uses their own designers for projects such as FilmFour and E4. Purple Lizard have either built components, small sections of the website, or stepped in at the last minute to help out. James was involved in the graphic design and the creation and maintenance of the jsp code

Purple Lizard built the Sky voting engine for Big Brother 2 & 3. They tried to capitalise on this to break into the Waptv market and the screens shown here are marketing demonstrations. James designed and built these applications using WML to write the JSP's to interface with the database. There where web based admin tools and WAP and PDA interfaces |

Purple Lizard worked as consultants to Ansbacher, mainly on the background banking infrastructure and the Java interface to it. The first product to be released however was the Ansbacher brochureware site - pictured here. James designed this with guidance from Ansbacher's advertising agency and their in house image consultant, their web presence had to match their clean high quality brand. E4 website was innovative in that it used dyna layers rather than conventional HTML. Purple Lizard played several roles in the site development from trouble shooting the holding page to integrating registration and forums. James played a front end role in all the above parts of the project integrating the designers graphics into the JSP pages. |

The site won many awards: New Media Age - Site of the week, The Times/Interface - Site of the week, Evening Argus - Website of the week, Evening Standard - Website of the month, The Independent - website of the week.

This was an interactive museum kiosk written in Macromedia Director, it's purpose was to inform the museum visitor about the exhibits around them, and to provide a bit more information about the equipment (especially the bits that where too large to fit in the museum). James built the director application with a small amount of input from the client and a graphic designer. |

Daewoo wanted their website to look like the kiosk application JSC built for them. James was responsible for the front-end application building the HTML and interfacing with the back end ASP application.

Telstra tried to be first to provide a payphone integrated with a web browser using a pc with touch screen technology. JSC built a prototype application and assisted ICL and Telstra as consultants with the final product. James helped with the interactive application and spent 5 weeks in Melbourne defining a style guidelines document for the content providers. |

JSC worked on the BT Touch point as part of the development team from ICL. The BT Touchpoint was BT's attempt to bring limited access to the internet to the public on a payphone in 1996. James was responsible for the Style guidelines for the content providers and built the top layer of the interface using JSC's Interactive Shopper software. |

Daewoo allowed the customer to specify their cars on an interactive kiosk in the showroom. They did not have any sales people pressuring their customer's just advisors. James used JSC's bespoke kiosk application to build the front end of the multimedia system. |

JSC built a multimedia touch screen kiosk for the Auchan hypermarket in Paris to allow shoppers to locate their products in the huge store. An interactive map showed the user the best route to their product. James built the front end of the application, integrating the graphics with the database using JSC's Interactive Shopper application. |
