Business description:
Dbas is a pioneering fiber optic networking company specializing in passive Ethernet local area
networks and related LED, hub and amplifier technologies. Unlike current active Ethernet
solutions, Dbas uses passive (requiring no external power source) glass or plastic
splitter/combiners in its network products in place of the traditional electrical components. By
eliminating the need for optical to electrical conversion in the switches, routers and hubs of a
network, Dbas reduces the cost of the network components substantially and increases the
network reliability and security.

Dbas currently holds 41 patents globally dealing with passive Ethernet fiber based
communications technology, collision detection methods, passive hub design and manufacture,
and amplifier technologies for passive fiber applications.

Dbas provides top-of-the-line networking products for every type of network using cutting edge
technology. The directors of Accelera Capital believe that this hardware will become an essential
tool in the roll out of broadband to residential customers thus complementing Accelera Capital’s

design and administer a high performance e-commerce enabled Web store, automate back office
business management and integrate with third party processors and banks for secure real time
electronic transactions.
