Sites touristiques - Montauban

Capital city of Tarn and Garonne, Montauban was stronghold of the Black Prince in the 12th Century. Montauban formed the southern extent of Britsih rule in France after the hundred years war, the Musée Ingres still has part of his Chateau with a later (17th century upper floors) the city was also influenced by Catharsism and Protestantism
