Purple Lizard has been working with the Channel 4 Interactive team to help launch the new look FilmFour site, www.filmfour.com in April 2001. Purple Lizard worked with the FilmFour team to bring new leading edge features to the already established FilmFour site. Purple Lizard helped build many new features, including a sophisticated search for cinemas showing particular films; a new customer registration system; a new service to preview on release films with the Trailer Park and an extensive database of reviews. Purple Lizard also oversaw the introduction of community software for use in the Forums area of the FilmFour site. Purple Lizard worked with the FilmFour team to bring many of the new features to the FilmFour WAP site, also launched in April 2001.
Purple Lizard have been working closely with FilmFour team on the incorporation of a new integrated registration system that handles user sign-up and access to controlled areas and community areas of the site. Purple Lizard integrated the Message Board features of the Caput Community System into the new registration system for the re-launched forums area of the FilmFour site. Purple Lizard's holistic integrated approach is a hallmark of their work and can be seen in other Channel 4 sites such as E4.
