roofing timbers canal tiles
I completely replaced the roof on our 'goat shed': put in the timbers (chevrons), then boarded them (voliges) then flexo-tuile, then traditional canal tiles with crochets. The roof even has a little window!
A friend needed a hand putting metalwork into his roof timbers and to replace all the chevrons.

I have installed Velux windows in a new roof,
in an exisiting roof,
replaced old 'velux' windows,
and made insect screens fit over them.

guttering
Metal guttering is pretty easy to put up and lasts forever

flooring
I have built two beam and block floors at home; this one is the G&T terrace, I did all the work myself apart from the huge concrete lintel at the front which I had a friend place with a manitou and the concrete pour which was a lorry and a lot of helpers.

Badigen, crepi béton végétal. - not plastering - this is a chaux (lime morter) based product that is more rustic than plastering, it is much nicer to work with than plaster as it takes a few days to go off, not an hour or so

Placo / plasterboard / dry wall / doublage
- I converted our attic and bathroom using this technique

Plumbing
If you want a profeesional plumber then ring Bill Abley.
I can do plumbing but prefer plastic pipes - drainage, watering etc.
I flushed out my underfloor system when it got blocked with sediment, with a special hired pump. - plancher chauffant bouchons

wall mounted roller sunblind / awning
I mounted this electric brico depot roller for half the price of certain artisans.

metalwork / welding
I build firebaskets, log baskets, firesurrounds (and other things) out of sheet metal welded together. I but the sheet metal cut to size from Sotradis and then cut and weld the pieces to create the object. It isn't as cheap as buying things in brico but I can create what I want.
I also make BBQ grills out of old metal wagon wheels

Wood stoves/ chimneys Installation and maintenance of Poele a bois - ramonage - sweeping chimneys - if your fire glass gets dirty quickly there is a good chance your chimney is the same.

Pool cover
A friend bought a pool cover in Kent of Ebay and we went over to dismantle it, put it on a lorry and bring it back to Puylaroque
